Haylon Technologies Kicks off Cooperative Agreement with US Army Research Laboratory
May 13, 2024
Haylon Technologies has entered into a Cooperative Agreement with the DEVCOM Army Research Laboratory's Power Conditioning Branch to research the benefits of using its proprietary battery control technology on fast-charging high-energy battery cells.
The primary objective of this research will be to increase the charging speed and cycle life of next-generation battery concepts, as well as improving energy-awareness capabilities for less well-studied new battery cells.
Over the course of the project, which has been funded for one year but may be extended for up to three years, Haylon will meet regularly with ARL subject-matter experts, experiment with various approaches, and conduct joint testing and evaluations.
